We’re an independent family business

We’re proud to be Yorkshire’s leading lawn care specialists. As an independent family business, we place great value in getting to know our customers and building long-term relationships.

We’re not part of a larger franchised model meaning we’re consistent with our methods and will always keep you in the loop.

Our treatments ensure the health and appearance of your lawn by combining the best equipment available with origin-traceable and organic products.

Our Eco-friendly Approach

Our primary aim is simple: help our customers maintain lawns they’re proud of and can enjoy to the fullest. 

Our wider aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we work in by inspiring outdoor living. As part of this effort we take an eco-friendly approach to our work.

  • We use fully-traceable and organic products, where possible.
  • We get involved in circular processes such as composting initiatives. For example, we compost the thatch and moss we remove during scarification treatments at our local recycling centre and use the resulting high-quality top soil in our top dress and patch repair treatments
  • We’re a member of a National Trust’s tree planting initiative which sees a new tree planted for every new customer we take on

Karl Fletcher

Co-owner & Lawn Technician

Hayfever and a grass allergy hasn’t stopped Karl from building Yorkshire’s leading provider of lawn care treatments. Outside of work, Karl spends most of his time helping out with coaching his kids’ grassroots football teams. 

Chloe Fletcher

Business Admin & Marketing

Making sure Yorkshire Lawn Care is dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s. Enjoys getting-together (with the occasional G&T) in the garden with friends. Three children with Karl.

Finley Fletcher

The Real Boss

You may find Finley checking the quality of the lawns during the school Holidays. He loves getting his hands dirty during the renovation season.

Steve Dawson

Co-owner & Lawn Technician

A big outdoor lover, Steve is the man to speak to about Yorkshire Lawn Care’s sustainability initiatives. Outside of work, Steve enjoys taking his two kids mountain biking and, when he gets the chance, escaping to the peace and quiet of his workshop for a bit of woodworking.

Working alongside Chloe to make sure everything is running smoothly and Yorkshire Lawn Care’s customers are always kept up-to-date. Loves working alongside friends and family everyday. Two children with Steve.
